The journey through pregnancy and new motherhood naturally inspires self reflection, increased health awareness, and the challenge of huge life transitions. We see obvious and astounding changes in the growing, pregnant body, but mentally and emotionally there is remarkable transformation as well. With all of this change and development in a relatively short period of time, mothers-to-be can use some tools for stress relief, physical comfort, emotional balancing, and labor preparation. Prenatal Yoga is a widely used practice for creating such benefits.
About Prenatal Yoga Classes
Prenatal Yoga classes include yoga postures (asanas), breathing (pranayam) and meditation. These practices are helpful for mental and emotional balancing, easing the discomforts of pregnancy, preparing the body for delivery, and the after effects of birth. The classes create flexibility, focus, strength, and awareness through a gentle practice that is designed especially for the pregant woman's needs. Prenatal Yoga classes provide a safe and supportive environment for expectant mothers and are a wonderful way to connect with other mothers-to-be. The classes are appropriate for both new and experienced yoga students. View Class Schedule
