The Teacher Training team is made up of experienced, internationally certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainers and Associate Trainers. Our trainers studied personally with Yogi Bhajan - some for over 30 years. The teaching team includes:

Sevak Singh Khalsa

Lead Instructor


Sevak Singh has studied, practiced and taught Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for thirty years. He is a KRI certified Lead Professional Teacher Trainer, a spiritual coach and co-founder of "The Elevation Institute", a provider of techniques for life improvement. Sevak is the Executive Director of the 3HO Foundation of Arizona, Yoga Phoenix’s parent non-profit. He teaches internationally, guiding students through the process of spiritual self discovery and renewal. As a husband, father, grandfather and professional artist he brings experience, wisdom, humor and creativity into his unique teaching style. As a personal student of Yogi Bhajan’s since 1973, Sevak Singh feels the blessing and obligation of sharing these life giving technologies with the world. His message is, “It’s your birthright to be happy so smile and lighten-up, be enlightened!”

David "Hari Jap" Meyers

Co-Lead Instructor


Hari Jap has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1983 and is the founder of the Center for Divine Awakening, Kundalini Yoga Center. In addition to his study with Yogi Bhajan, he has studied with several other Master Teachers from numerous traditions including Taoist Master Lee, Mantak Chia and Sunyata. Hari Jap has extensive training in Kundalini Yoga along with training in Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Tantra, Kinesiology, Martial Arts, and Shamanism teachings.



Sangeet Kaur Khalsa

Sangeet has been specializing in yoga for women for more than 20 years with classes, workshops, books, videos, CDs and her Womanheart Retreats. She is fun and energetic and co-developer/teacher of KRI Level II Teacher Training Module on Conscious Relationships.



Dr. Hari Simran Singh Khalsa

Dr. Hari Simran Singh has been teaching Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and Sat Nam Rasayan for over 25 years. As a Chiropractor, inspirational public speaker, and Teacher Trainer, he was a key community leader in Phoenix for many years before moving to California. He now resides in Northern California, where he is a teacher of Chiropractic technique at LCCW in Hayward, Co-director of Rockridge Wholistic Health in Oakland, and is the Lead Teacher Trainer for Teacher Training programs in both Berkeley and Santa Rosa, CA.



Adi Singh Khalsa

Adi Singh has been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga for over 30 years. He brings a vast knowledge of health, healing, and the physiological effects of Yoga.



Jasjeet Kaur Corral

Jasjeet is dedicated to the special needs of beginning students. Jasjeet’s classes empower students to enhance their lives through their own practice of Kundalini Yoga and meditation.

Kewal Kaur Khalsa

Kewal enjoys sharing yoga with students of all levels and encourages students to approach their practice with openness, honesty, and fun. She received her yoga teacher certification through KRI in 1997, is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level, and has additional training in Prenatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga Level 2 Modules. She is a writer, a mother, and is the Director of Yoga Phoenix. Until 2004 she was a Owner, Manager, Teacher, and Teacher Trainer at "Yoga Yoga" studios in Austin, Texas.
